I find this article, and the notion, that social media. where the USER has the power to block, mute, and privatize their accounts to curate their content, to be almost babylon bee levels of satire. Sorry alphabet people, your fee fee's are not protected by the law or constitution.

In regards to doxing, I can't block, mute or privatize my current home address. While at the end of the day people going to act on their feelings, regardless of which side politically you stand on. The concern comes into real world implications.

For example, when I'm referred to as a series of racial and/or lgbt slurs, I can ignore it and do something else. If they decide to come to my home because they doxed me, well they're crossing a line.

I get "mah feelings" commentary, but it's the real world connection I worry about. I personally don't care if my social media account allows me to use 38 gender identities, someone else does. Doesn't hurt me.
