Why do people waste their time manufacturing crisis after crisis when there are very real ones at hand? Look at how much time has been wasted ranting about President Trump's many sins, all crafted by dishonest politicians and their shills in the media. Look at the righteous indignation over a Supreme Court ruling that delivers real choice back into the hands of We the People. And shall we mention man made climate change, and the war on fossil fuels waged without first developing and putting in place a viable alternative?
If you want to see a true crisis, wait until people begin starving.
Folks, we've been told many times that we were doomed to die from climate changes that never materialized, and a select group of idiots have run around with their hair on fire in response to these predictions (none of which never materialized). Well, empty shelves are appearing in supermarkets. If you haven't seen them, try accompanying your spouse on a shopping trip. Can't be bothered? Well, then watch a few minutes of this video of the developing crisis in the Netherlands.
Now, before you dismiss me as a climate denier nut, listen carefully. Climate change is real. Very real. The geologic record is full of evidence. Earth's climate has changed several times, long before man even appeared with or without SUVs. And it's in the process of changing again. We've been enjoying a respite between ice ages. Better that we spend our time and wealth developing real technologies to cope with it, than throwing it all away on quick fixes, none of which has proven practical.
