Interesting article. Reading the first half the only thing that kept repeating in my head was they have created the perfect storm to seize complete power by edit to centralize everything under the government (communism/socialism). Good points on the back half of the article. Having your own garden is the best one. Grew up in the 60's we had our own backyard garden and canned for the winter. Had close to 5 years worth of canned goods when I went off to college in 1978. Thanks for the share MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.

What you're saying must be true. The socialist city council passed an ordinance to only allow watering outside 3 hours every other day beginning June 1st. They want to fine property owners if they use too much water, but the people roared too loud.

While it remains to be seen what the results of this ruling will be other than a limitation of the power of the EPA and by extension possibly other agencies. The irony here for me is the food shortage that we have known for years was coming is exacerbated by pollution as the foundation of the food chain, plants, are damaged

For an industrialized nation, the U.S. has, for decades now, put out less pollution than any other country. Yet politically motivated agencies here have long kept trying to tie the hands of industry and production. I well remember the 50's when you had to have your headlights on in the middle of the day in areas of steel production. The air is cleaner today than it's ever been.
The last EPA ruling I had to deal with required parts per million (ppm) so finite that there was literally NO equipment available to measure as small as they'd mandated. So while environmental impact is a concern, it's not so much a concern today - in fact, it's of very little concern.
