Were Chastity Belts Real or imagined? Was the promise of using them made to children (boys and girls) to make a point about the mores of society that did not match up with values families taught the childern . . . did not match up with the hypocrisy of what "the church" said when it arranged and manipulted the opposite? Hmm . . . who really knows for sure!
Seems they are more real in a specific demographic of society in modern times as a symptom of the underbelly culture of the twins that are extreme conservatism and extreme liberalism, than they ever were in Medieval times.
