It’s Friday, the end of the workweek for many of us. It's also a seismic news day, with the U.S. Supreme Court overturning the Roe v. Wade decision and the federally protected right to abortion.
This is also a major weekend of celebration in Seattle for the LGBTQ community with annual pride events, and the first full arts weekend of the summer. So, as we do most Fridays, we reached out for arts & culture event recommendations in the Puget Sound region. This week, KUOW’s Paige Browning spoke to Stranger staff writer Jas Keimig.

Unfortunately their rights will be taken away next along with contraceptives. Some of these folks making these decisions are one foot in the grave and won't be around much longer but we will get roe back and reverse all of the damage the christian taliban has caused.
