Mother of son killed in gun violence testifies on Capitol Hill

Many powerful speakers have testified before legislative bodies including city and county councils as well as the US Congress, always with the same message. And time after time, their testimony is ignored to the detriment of us all. These legislators then attempt to infringe on our natural/God-given right to self defense to no avail. Why do we continue to elect and reelect these cretins?
