There were several times in college that humbled me because the subject of the class was hard to grasp, or I stupidly thought I knew everything. I had a preconceived notion the Egyptian artisans. were crude. I took an ancient art class that was fascinating. When the professor talked about the Egyptian artistry, I was blown away by King Tut's death mask. She said look at the picture of the mask and proceeded to tell us the expressions built into the mask like confidence, contentment, and looking to the future; and then I concluded the mask was brilliant. The artists were brilliant. I was wrong.
