While wondering how long it might be necessary to do battle with the computer - today - to get it to connect (thinking, once again - I have finally found the problem, lol), I was going through channels trying to find news. On PBS was the end of what undoubtedly was an excellent interview: two authors of a new book - which is now at the top of my reading list. Sounds like they dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's about the current state of our American culture - not only in reference to military - but a valid refreshing perspective from which to consider the underbelly of American culture from which we all suffer for not recognizing it. Of course the title refers to and is about all who serve and have served. We all know that many civilians often think of everyone as "soldiers" - comparable to GIs collectively, which apparently is now SMs, collectively.
