When I worked for Radio Liberty in Munich during the Cold War, the KGB assassinated one of our Ukrainian staffers on his way to work - poison aerosol, likely from a "shooter" looking like a fountain pen. The KGB has maybe changed it's name but the people are the same including the former KGB Lt. Colonel - now the so-called "president" of Russia. We had to provide OPSEC guidance to the many families of the emigre's who worked for RL. They represented 30 odd nationalities in the USSR who broadcasted the "truth" in as many languages to the Soviet Union. RL and Radio Free Europe are still trying to bring the real news to the Russian people in light of the War and the usual suppression of the news by the modern iteration of Communist Russia.

I wish I saw this before I posted a different article about story. Regardless, it is a good example of karma.
