Top Projects of 2021 Awards - VA Milwaukee Soldier’s Home

This is so very cool they are rehabbing this building to once again house Vets that would otherwise be homeless. The location is prime as well the former home is on the grounds of the VA for Milwaukee County and within a short walking distance of Milwaukee's Miller Stadium as well as being a short bus ride to and from the lakefront, Summerfest grounds, etc. If these were private apartments they would be paying through the nose to live here. Overall great reuse of a building that was at one time a candidate for demolition. Also, awesome 1890's Victorian Architecture, well worth preserving for future generations.
