A certain group always jumps straight to mentall illness for these white mass murderers. That same group calls black criminals or innocent black people who are killed by police animals and other such nonsense.

He left a screed by a mentally ill person. Contradictory and nonsensical. He threatened to kill students at his high school graduation. He underwent mental a evaluation. He was investigated by the FBI. Why was he allowed to buy guns? He should have been flagged.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - I feel some people should be flagged and they can appeal. There were multiple instances where he threatened mass violence. I am a strong 2nd amendment advocate. But when you have some one repeatedly threatening mass violence, well there should be guard rails. The shooter in the South Carolina church got a weapon because of a clerical error . The Shooter in the Texas church was dishonorably discharged, some kind of screw up allowed him to get a weapon.

Just a heads-up: in his manifesto he makes no mention of Tucker Carlson, and in fact self-identifies himself as a populist authoritarian leftist, staunchly against conservatives. He openly hated Fox News, and expressly rejected Christianity. He would've flatly rejected Carlson's influence, if it ever even crossed his screen.
This comment is not a defense of Peyton Gendron nor of Tucker Carlson; it's pointing out that Carlson's influence on Gendron is non-existent, and posts like this, that at least convey the idea of a connection, are not appropriate. Posts and articles like this insinuate that Fox News is somehow responsible for Gendron's motivation to carry out his terrible crime.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - they did, Fox News commented on it. Why do you folks so willing believe what lunatics write? Any one jumping on Black supremacist because of what the New York subway shooter wrote?

His manifesto and those of others may not explicitly cite Tucker Carlson, but they do mention race and replacement. One example is the 2019 El Paso shooter and how his comments echoed that of the Fox News pundit.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - so the subway shooter was a black supremacist, should I believe his manifesto? . The shooter at the Church was Chinese and didn’t like Taiwanese. Oh replacement theory has been expressed by Democrats. Hillary believed in it so she didn’t bother with white working males. https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/the-replacement-theory-hypocrites/

It can’t be the case that the Left gets to welcome the political effects of demographic changes, and the other side is forbidden to notice or push back.
