Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth - I agree on Ole Miss. They can't seem to decide what they are. I never adopted a love for their sports teams. My uncle played football for them when they were really,, really good (Johnny Vaught era), and he was perplexed that I didn't drop LSU and adopt Ole Miss when I started going to school there.

LTC Kevin B. - Truth be told it was a toss up for me...a means to an end. My dad was a cheerleader there one year and in a frat (not for me) and I was an Ole Miss fan growing up but I ended up at State for some reason and well, ROTC, met my wife (30 years married), and have a great life...God works things out even when we can't see the road ahead of us...My daughter graduated from Alabama as nurse and is doing very well so I guess I have some allegiance to there, although it be very small allegiance.
