Good question. I Hope LTC Allen West and the other elected leadership can get the control needed to quit bleeding money in defense of the current directors. As a Life Member, I have refused to send any more money to the NRA over the past number of years.

Major, I too am a Life Member and I respectfully disagree. As I said in my reply to the original post:
"LaPierre paid the NRA back over $300K for inappropriately using expense reports. Further, he personnaly signed the NRA 2021 Tax Return which is a big deal because NORMALLY, the NRA (and other organizations') returns are signed by a group's TREASURER. Why is that a big deal? To prove and convince the powere that be, that by signing, HE literally would expose himself to perjury if the retrun were proven as false, which of course, it won't be as he is no fool."

That NY AG is not working for the "people," but for the anti-gun lobby in New York. LaPierre paid the NRA back over $300K for inappropriately using expense reports. Further, he personnaly signed the NRA 2021 Tax Return which is a big deal because NORMALLY, the NRA (and other organizations') returns are signed by a group's TREASURER. Why is that a big deal? WLP needs to step down, regardless of what he may have paid back, because, under his leadership, the NRA has hemorrhaged members and been a lightning rod for legal actions. There have been a LOT of shady deals that haven't turned out well, and until they get their shit together, they aren't getting another dime from me.
