Sort of an unwritten rule in law enforcement is, you never lose the fight. Believe me when I tell you that was a fight for the officer's life. You use the amount of Force necessary to stop the aggression. If the suspect would have been able to take the taser away from the officer, he would have been able to incapacitate him, take his weapon and kill him. Criminals need to understand that they are fighting a trained professional and not an ordinary citizen on the street. I speak with 7 years experience as a certified law enforcement officer.
