On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump alerted the nation that there were "100,000 brand new, sparkling copies" of his picture book available for sale from a publishing house co-founded by his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.

During the past week, Trump has also blasted out emails touting Trump-owned golf clubs in Miami, Los Angeles, and West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump's relentless marketing was not, however, issued by his business empire, the Trump Organization. Instead, it came from a federal government-funded office provided to him by the Former Presidents Act.

The constant plugs for family business ventures Trump weaves into the email blasts from his taxpayer-subsidized, post-presidential office are "unsavory" but not unexpected, an ethics professional said, given that he's flouted ethics rules since entering political life.

Really??? Let's talk about the Clinton Foundation or maybe the Clinton home n New York that used Government funds to build their house and Secret Service home and then now charges the government rent for said free secret service protectors to live in it. Oh, lets not even get started on Presidential Libraries...waste of government funds! They all do it, this isn't something new.

MSG Stan Hutchison - Not a diversion...TRUTH...you missed the entire point...they all do it but the ORANGE MAN BAD folks with TDS keep looking for things to divert the actions of the current Loser in chief with stuff like this that we all know every president does. Don't care about past presidents...I care about what is happening now and our country is on a very slippery slope almost to a point we can't recover..

Capt Gregory Prickett - You and Hutchison both have missed the point. This isn't about whataboutism...this is about I don't care...If we are going to talk about past presidents and their shenanigans let's talk about all of them as they all have and still do shamelessly benefit from being President...this isn't a Republican or Dem or independent conversation...a lot of people are pointing out Trump because they don't like him and yes
he is not my favorite and yes he is doing it but so have all past presidents and so will future past presidents...there are more substantive things to find wrong than trying to throw crap at the wall and just see if it sticks. They have all capitalized on their time as Pres.

There are right wingers that will continue to be conned by trump and he will happily take their money and give nothing in return. Just like his failed presidency.
