Interesting take. Bias can influence. And repeating or hearing a repeated false info reinforces the belief to be true. Repeat a lie enough it will eventual believed to be true. Unfortunately to many kids are told to accept without question what they hear and see. Starting mostly in schools. Loss of critical thinking also contributes. Since kids aren't challenged in home and school as much as older generations. It is a challenge my middle faces every day as first as a kindergarten teacher and now a first grade teacher. Her kids continually out perform the other teachers thus she is now team leader for the other 8 first grade teachers. Coaching them. She has 2 teacher assistant to help out with and her district has partnered with the local university to get them degrees in teaching all paid for and a commitment to the district for 5 years.
