Even today, people don't realize how very much the women of America contributed towards winning the 2nd WW. Even seemingly minor (NOT referencing the "Hello Girls") contributions were no less important to the overall war effort. Those who flew replacement aircraft to Great Britain, the factory workers who built the planes, Red Cross workers, and sos on!
