If you don't like what someone says, just reply to them. Debate is good , healthy and fun.

I only use them to keep a flame war from starting. Instead of getting all lathered up, I give a down thumb, and move on. It's the best way to keep from having an argument, where nobody wins. I haven't given one in a long time. When I did use them it was because personal attacks were happening to a female member. She ended up getting sick, which she already was, with chemical exposure, and got off RP.
