The sanitarium is now a Federal Government building. There is one large room in the building that still has a crystal chandelier that is original to the building. That room is now available for rent to the general public for conferences, high school proms (that's where my high school senior prom was held) and other large gatherings. There is another part of the building that is a sort of museum that explains the whole history of the building and the founding of the Kelloggs cereal company.
