SrA John Monette Yes, they might have imposed the death penalty for these crimes. Save the United States taxpayers a nice hefty upkeep bill.

Cpl Vic Burk - My thoughts exactly. Except we don't have an extradition treaty with Cambodia. Put him on a plane headed that way and let them know what flight he's on.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel To bad he can't be stripped of his title as a United State Marine. He ain't no Brother of mine any longer. This sick perverted guy will get his in prison once they find out why he is there. I feel for those poor girls who will be haunted for the rest of their life because of this guys actions.

SrA John Monette - I should hope so but then again, with a sentence like that he will never be out of prison to receive any benefits.

Cpl Vic Burk - And that's the way it should be. Take whatever retirement/disability benefits he was receiving and give them to his victims.

We try to believe our Veterans and military members are all honorable and trustworthy people, but they are not all that way. Our military is just a slice of our society, good and bad. Always has been, always will be.
It is sad that this reflects on all of us, but so be it.

MAJ Ken Landgren - That would be nice, but I don't think it ever will be 100% so.
