The West Is Falling for Putin’s Real Play in Ukraine

Actually the article is not 100% correct. With deployment of the S-400 ADA, the Russians just need to deploy one or two to each Ukrainian Border they occupy and flip the switch on and they defacto have a no fly zone over most of Ukraine's airspace without a jet fighter entering the sky. That and the accidental downing in the past of civilian airliners by clumsy Russians is what led to the airline and insurance decisions. Not sure how the author missed that as well as the long range artillery and surface to surface rockets. Putin can inflict a lot of damage without even crossing any borders.
