According to the RNC, Jan 6 was nothing more than political discourse.

SFC Casey O'Mally - Errors of omission constitute lies. They think they are being cute and great debaters when they use a method like this, everyone who knows anything sees their actions for what they are.

SFC Casey O'Mally That piece you added was not in the original statement. It was verbally added as a clarification of what they meant to say by McDaniel among others. As I said I welcome their amending the statement. The difference between you and I is trust neither party.

SFC (Join to see) - who is they? No one speaks for me but me. You are certainly free to disagree with my comments but don't put me in association with either party. They are both packed with self serving liars. There was no error of omission. There was a verbal clarification to the censure after the fact. I may have been a little behind the story as I have a busy life and didn't hear of the verbal clarification until after I posted.

SP5 Dennis Loberger - “They” are anyone who omits information to look at facts and/or quotes out of context to gain an advantage in an honest conservation. Speaking for myself when I don’t have the facts or arguments on my side, I usually just leave the conversation because I don’t want to waste energy on a losing battle. On the rare occasion when I do push a bad situation, and get called on it, I stand up, admit my transgressions publicly, and then I can move on. Again speaking for myself, if I don’t do this I just can’t move on. The Boss Lady always says I am too honest. I like it that way.

Dislike.

Just like I thought it was bad when her state's Democratic Committee censured Sinema, this is wrong, too.

Look, we should never expect politicians to agree with their party 100% of the time. If we did, then why even have 435 reps? All we need is 2. 100 senators? Again, we only need 2.

But if we can admit that each legislator may be from a party, and share that party's GENERAL outlook, but not necessarily agree to each and every stance, then maybe we can move beyond censuring legislators who DARE to do the unthinkable and disagree with their party from time to time.

I understand what you say. I also understand that a Select Committee is to be chosen from the party's leadership, otherwise it is not "select". Those are just the rules, some decided not to follow the rules. If I am not wrong the only way they could have done this in an accepted manner is if they switched parties before they joined the committee; but then it still would not be a Select Committee.

SFC (Join to see) - exactly, Pelosi refused to accept the people for the committee Republican leadership appointed, so Republicans, except Cheney and Kinzinger who appointed themselves.
