CRT has been around since the 70's and mostly ignored. This is just another action by the radical right to make a target for people's anger. It is also catering to the white supremist that Trump loves.

Where does CRT treat racism as both a Black and White issue? Just give me one example please. Does it cover systemic racism in some Black Communities, say perhaps in former successive Democratic Party leadership of Detroit? Have you heard some of former Detroit Mayor Coleman Young's lets shall we say quoteable quotes made in public?

MSG Stan Hutchison - Again you dodged the questions. Nobody will take CRT seriously unless it involves reconciliation on both sides. You can't resolve a dispute between two people by constantly blaming one side. Look at 1SG Gomez's post, very accusatory and no room no quarter..........good luck with that position, he will be forever unsuccessful with this issue and probably always disgruntled.

SPC Erich Guenther - Your question is another "whataboutism" common among the right. It diverts the issue in an attempt to downplay or divert the seriousness of racism in this nation.

A bunch of racists come out this time of year. Pay attention to who they are and remember them.

I lot of those bans seem rooted in a misunderstanding of what CRT is. There is a group in the US who believes that we live in a post racism society. Anything that studies and shows that racism still exists and impacts people today runs counter to that belief. As such they have to see CRT differently, as an attack on white people.

You stated:
"It completely and absolutely ignores Black racism towards Whites in Detroit which is and was a serious issue."
This gets back to what CRT does and does not examine. If black racism towards whites ends up in the design of laws and government structures, then sure that's fair game for CRT and CRT supports that type of examination.
CRT is a framework for looking at things and you could use CRT to do exactly the type of examination you are talking about. Just because that particular topic hasn't been looked through the lens of CRT is not a problem with CRT.

SPC Kevin Ford - Though to be fair, nothing in your post screams racial bias to me, only normal D and R politics.

SPC Kevin Ford - But admit it you were tempted to call me a racist because that is what most Liberals do when they disagree with others. BTW, My Aunt a Catholic Nun was a Native American bleeding heart until she shared a protest line with them at the gates of Ft Benning in the 1980's protesting the School of the Americas. A few weeks on the protest lines with radical left-wing Native American activists and she wanted no more to do with them. I thought it was hilarious at the time and still snicker about it when she retells the story. She is still a left wing liberal but those Activists changed her viewpoints to the negative on the plight of Native Americans..........not sure what they told her or what they did but they definitely redlined her BS meter significantly.

I normally try to be very careful not to call people I'm talking to racists unless they do something like say they think one race is superior. I don't think most of us are outwardly racist. Bias on the other hand we all have, that's just a normal byproduct of our nature as humans.
