You have to provide the same information when renewing your drivers license. You have to show your ID to purchase alcohol. Laws change, 80 percent of Americans want voter identification laws to prevent corruption. This a leftist piece.

An example of "corruption" is a rightist Trump supporter who attempted and failed to use his deceased mother's info to vote. The system caught him with preexisting laws and he pleaded guilty to voter fraud.

The same applies in my home state. It is the responsibility of the citizens to follow or become educated on the changes to laws. It is unfortunate that a veteran from our greatest generation could not vote because he failed to go in and update his voter registration, but ultimately the responsibility falls on the citizen. Your point about mailing in ballots is correct from the poll taken. History will prove the last election was fraught with corruption.

I believe anyone whether they are Democrat or Republican should follow the laws, and if they break them they should be held accountable. You did prove my point.
