The James Web Space Telescope is in its stretch run, so-to-speak, as it now has less than 450 miles to its planned Lagrange Point L2 position!!! If you bring it up now, you will see in real time its journey' completion... FULL SCREEN, GO FOR IT!!!

P.S. 2:14PM Eastern: The James Web Space Telescope has completed its Journey to the L2 Lagrange Point!!! Congratulations to all who participated in making this a success to this point!!! The course correction burn to insert the JWST into its orbit around the L2 Point is on or will be shortly!!!

There is still work to be done once it is in orbit around the Lagrange L2 Point, and little by little the images will become better and better... Down to 210 miles now, Doug!
