SSG Robert Webster -I took My first shot Aug 11th...took my second dose Sept 1st...that makes me eligible for the second dose the first week of Feb. I am a DoD Employee and it wasn't mandatory for us till Nov. Bidens mandate for Civil Servants wasn't in effect until Nov. I was never against the vaccine...just wanted more information...I made my decision when a good friend of mine had a cousin that died from it...he was vaccinated and received a booster when the booster wasn't really a thing...he asked for it...he still died. My wife started back at school and within the first two days of school three kids were positive. We talked and decided we were going that day to get it. The mandate for Active Duty started long before all of that and it didn't apply to GS or Contractors at that point.
