In France, approx 77% of the people have had both doses, 2% more have had only one. Macron is seriously alienating almost 30% of his people by his insults and threats which is going to cause a sizable rift in the population. More trouble ahead, like here SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth

My family is of French descent, originally from Normandy. (The Normans were the last bunch to ever invade and conquer Britain.) The French have always been a hard group to bring under strict control. Remember the previous nationwide protests of the "Yellow Vests" in Paris and other big cities? They began in Nov 2018 and lasted almost two years, first sparked by government-ordered price rises in oil and gas, and then moving into protests demanding economic and police reforms. They nearly shut down Paris and other large French cities and really torpedoed the tourist industry.

Macron's comments are likely to stir up a similar hornet's nest of protest. Referring to the unvaccinated as "not real citizens" and stating his goal is to "really piss them off" is likely to do just that. Macron needs to be careful what he wishes for, he will probably get it.
