In the end, you have the option, though it might hurt, to move your home, move your business. I have had one for 27 years, I get the pain, but honestly if someone tried to force that on me, it would be wind down and think about early retirement at this point. When mayors end up with no tax revenue and cities with massive unemployment, they end up getting voted out of office. Different spin on it, but the same thing business owners dealt with in Seattle and Portland the previous few years when people burned down blocks and nothing was done about it.
