Media is a collection of spin doctors whose main duties and responsibilities are to create news that catches the public eye at any cost. So, these talented personalities find a story and spin a web of half truths and lies to embellish their stories. In reality, these stories only scratch the surface or are far from the truth; however, the stories catch their readers eyes.

Yes, reading some of these "news" stories makes it appear that suddenly a machine achieved independent thought and attacked a crowd of innocent people. "Several people were injured today when an SUV veered onto the sidewalk and ran over a crowd of shoppers.." What it ought to say instead might be "A 54 year old man is under arrest in Cleveland after he drove his Ford Explorer into a crowd of shoppers, killing two and injuring 15.." or similar words. So why aren't all of these stories written in clear and accurate active voice? Because doing that might not serve the big media's ongoing agenda.
