The Veteran and Beginning Farmer Assistance Act was recently introduced in Congress and would allow for updates to the Appropriate Transfer for Rural Areas program (ATTRA), providing further resources, training and technical assistance to veterans in the farming profession.

Once upon a time. The little guy has been forced off the farms ever since Ronnie made his desert bloom. Drive thru WI. You can see the rotting down monument's to him everywhere.

If you are an independent farmer and the ledger sheet says you are making a good living, you have a crappy accountant. I'm an independent farm with strong market share in to local niche markets. My side hustles are what make the difference between retirement and dying face down in one of my barns mucking out sawdust soaked with goat urine and goat turds somewhere in my 80's.
