In the suit, Mamie Mitchell, the script supervisor, claimed, “Alec Baldwin intentionally, without just cause or excuse, cocked and fired and loaded gun EVEN THOUGH THE UPCOMING SCENE TO BE FILMED DID NOT CALL FOR THE COCKING AND FIRING OF A FIREARM.”

I did hear where they were not rehearsing or shooting a scene that called for a gun.

And the script manager said the scene they were working on didn't call for "the cocking and firing of a firearm." Having been on a set, I can tell you, the script manager and director work extremely close with the actors. The script manager has hired Gloria Allred, meaning she want's to ensure she isn't held responsible. Alec baldwin knew what he was doing wasn't in the script.

Fast forward to 2024 and criminal charges against Baldwin were dismissed. While the on-set shooting death was tragic, the prosecution attempted to withhold evidence in the case.
