Air Force fires colonel who berated subordinates for following safety protocols

He deserved the firing MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.

Sometimes you have to say, "No, Sir, we can't do that." That's utterly foreign to some people who only want to say, "Can do, Sir, can do!" I had one commander who assigned me a list of 100 items he wanted my unit to accomplish. I asked him what the priorities were, and his reply was "All of them are Number One." That's the sort of thing that leads to this kind of situation.
