Jack, I bought this model last Christmas. I should build it before Christmas.
A-10 All-weather prototype. They made one or two of these but the Air Force was not interested.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - It is historical and fun to see and hear the whine of TWO A-10s over your head. I saw them fly over me at JRTC Fort Polk, LA in September of 2004 just before my deployment. They did not fire ordnance but it was nice seeing them fly 500 feet over our heads. Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen

Shades of the FB-111 that crews dubbed Frankenvark. It was rebuilt from two seperate aircraft crashes. Needless to say it had a lot of placards for system switches. http://fb-111.net/Page-36.html
