Interesting article on the coming of electric vehicles but it still doesn't address my concerns about range. Long distance travel, which is way more common in the US than other countries, will certainly have to change. You can't simply stop at a station, recharge and continue on your way in 15 minutes.

MAJ Roland McDonald Actually I read an article somewhere that recycling these batteries is an up and coming technology. Not fully operational but just about there.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen good to know they are moving to get recycling going. Wonder were they have been storing the old ones from hybrids as they were the leading edge technology that these new ones are based on.
