What a crock. Tell me, Joe, In Vermont where I live has less that 600,000 people, that's in the whole state. My county has an average density of around 30 people/sqK, and that includes a city of 16,000. Where my kids live it's more like 10/sqk. How is your mass transit going to work here?

BTW, the Boston Washington corridor already carries about 12M passengers/yr how's having a 300MPH train gonna change that?

Right, by choice. By offering them a faster cheaper way to get from point A to point B... A lot of people use the transits and trains, the underground railways, whatever you want to call them..... they are fast...
