I don't think they want to be Martyrs of Ignorance, there will always be a subset of individuals that for the sake of Principle do not want to be told what to do. Remember that line about the "Land of the Free?"
By the way I am fully vaccinated, have my Flu Shot, and since the Moderna Booster has just been approved will be getting that this week. I just don't believe in putting people down for a personal choice, I'd rather everyone was vaccinated but this is how it is.
