The New York Times skirts the supply chain crisis

Stand by for some real fun. When the Chinese decide that they have sucked as much money and technology out of the U.S. as they want, then they will use their control of global shipping and ports to slowly starve us of essential supplies. We have foolishly allowed ourselves to become dependent on the Chinese for many advanced technologies. Unless we revive our domestic capabilities, we will find ourselves in dire straits.
