Oh, I'm sure that a lot of folks felt severely disincentivized by the unheralded onset of the "Points? What points?" debacle, SFC Kelly Fuerhoff.

That looks familiar. It is a reminder of how bad things could have gotten early this year and how one honest military commander stopped the then current governor from stealing the election.
We were very, very lucky on the certification this election. I don't think people realize how close we came to having something like the Maine election play out. Like then, the last election hinged on a few people refusing to bow to political pressure and impartially doing their jobs.

Those who don't read their history are condemned to repeat it. Americans don't like cheaters, even though those in power earlier in this year really-really wanted to.

Actually, SFC Randy Hellenbrand, I'd be more inclined to say that Americans have a long history of rationalizing cheating. The only times we object is when the other side appears to be cheating.
