The Soteriology of Anime

I think only a handful of anime deal with soteriology... For the layman so terminology is theological term for salvation.... However, since most Japanese stories involve Japanese yokai and overt paganism from Shinto belief... Most catholic terms like salvation is an alien concept... Hence only minority of anime would use it as a main theme.
