Impossible to justify the death of someone's grandma in a situation like this.

Hard to justify the loss of any life however he was wanted for a crime and that is what brought the police into her home. I do not think enforcing marijuna laws is worth the death of others and this will probably cost that city more than what they took off the street. End of the day actions has consequences.
