Scientists simulate jet colliding with World Trade Center

On September 11, 2001, a two highjacked jets were flown into the World Trade Center...
The first plane to hit its target was American Airlines Flight 11. It was flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan at 8:46 am. Seventeen minutes later at 9:03 am, the World Trade Center's South Tower was hit by United Airlines Flight 175. This video depicts in minute detail the impact of the first flight into the North Tower by American Flight 11.

I came across this video quite by accident, but it did catch my eye and since we just passed the 20th anniversary of that fateful day, I thought you might like to see what scientists found out about what happened when the aircraft hit the WTC North Tower...
