I agree that all people s deserve to be served by all with dignity and respect. As for how anyone is treated poorly, transgender are a protected class.
It is my belief that if I were in their shoes that I would determine first the physicians (or any service providers) leanings and select one based on that determination. Not every individual can tick away deep seated upbringings, religious beliefs and the like. In an emergency any health care provider, first responder, or even citizen in the street should be able to react with humanity and love of fellow man.
I hope this is received as I intended it, and that is of an observation bothering more.
