Hunger is usually a big cause. Look at how the right gained so much power from our great recession under W. They sure purposely forgot, or erased how Clinton had balanced our budget and damn near put a chicken in every pot. I hope you have read what the surviving Koch Brother has said about the Tea Party that they created.

I always love how all of the powers wanted world war 1. The total ineptness of the democracies/winners in handling of the great depression ensured the rise of fascism.
