The problem of course is Panjshir is so isolated from the rest of the world that the Taliban can claim they captured Elvis there and not be challenged by any reporter and they know this. So I have my doubts this is true and we will have to wait and see.

I can’t determine if these are political claims or facts. I think that the Taliban would show some photos of the dead if it where true.
