It is really not how we are able to produce enough, but how these batteries will be disposed of at the end of their useful life...

Ya as the article talked around I think that technology will come through and recycling old batteries will be big business just as it is with lead acid batteries. I still question whether or not there will ever be the volume to make that technology practical though. I drive by a recharging station in a local parking lot almost daily and 9 out of 10 times it's completely empty. Compare that to gas stations in the same area that rarely don't have a vehicle filling up.

I am awaiting the production of an electric pick-up capable of towing my travel trailer, and at a price I can afford.

They say the electric F-150 can handle large RVs but I've no idea what it costs, ........guessing it isn't cheap.

MSG Stan Hutchison I’d love for my RV to be electric too but just not an option now.
For cars I’ve always said they need three things:
300+ mile range
$30k price (today’s dollars)
15 minute recharge
That last one will be the difficult bit.

I suspect their is going to be some good money to be had creating battery recycling businesses.
