It's been more than nine months since Election Day 2020, but as the nation's top election officials met in Iowa over the weekend, it was clear the shadow of that race will stretch far into the future of American democracy.
The conspiracy theory that the 2020 election was somehow stolen from former President Donald Trump has upended almost all aspects of election administration: Local officials who a decade ago would have gone about their bureaucratic business in relative anonymity are facing threats and intense pressure, and a large chunk of American voters have no confidence the system is fair.
"This is the very unfortunate new normal," said Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, who had dozens of armed protesters visit her home in December after last year's election.
Elections are run in the U.S. at the state and local levels, so the top voting officials across the country are usually secretaries of state. They met this weekend in Des Moines for their first in-person gathering since January 2020.

I chalk this one up to COVID. There were so many irregularities during the voting process because of governments attempt to keep people safe while voting special considerations were adopted that were not specifically allowed by law. For example Mail in Ballot rules were changed in some areas, Drop off Ballot rules were changed is others, etc. States voting laws have to be enacted in the correct channel, but there were instances where Judges allowed aspects of turning in Ballots that were not specified in the laws, again due to fears of COVID.

These are reasons people suspect foul play weather there was any or not.
Add distrust of the voting machines because of bad publicity prior to the election and there is a concentration of distrust issues in nearly every state. Top that off with the 4AM jump in Biden votes that happened almost simultaneously in several different states and its like WTF???
Now, it appears there really were some discrepancies in Nevada although I don't know if there are enough to change the outcome.

Trump is the rightful president! He won legally and all those extra ballets biden got are dead or illegal votes they don't count! Oh wait! They weren't? Yes they weren't? How? But everyone loves Trump! No Biden got more votes and he's your rightful president. He may be a potatoe but he's the rightfully elected potatoe.
