Sad. Mask wearing, social distancing, and the vaccine have become so political, it is disgusting.

There was once upon a time that Americans could come their differences aside and come together for each other during times of need this is not that time. We let our institutions divide us so much that we rather watch our neighbors die a slow death than ajd them.

SGT (Join to see) yes it is but we brought it upon ourselves. We let everyone divide us over the last 2 decade's of the 21st century. Hopefully one day we'll all wake up from this with some sense again.

Did we though? Have we ever truly put aside differences for the greater good for extended periods of time? Not really.
Many people in this country have always been entitled and ignorant. WWII we didn't really truly come together when POC were still segregated - even in military units.
After 9/11, the "united we stand" didn't last really that long. Within hours there were people wanting to lock Muslims in concentration camps.
I think the biggest thing with this pandemic is 1. it was politcized and 2. we can't see the threat. When people can't see a threat (some people) they don't think it's really a threat.
This wasn't the meme I had seen last year but it's similar. If people could actually see the virus as it is, if they saw this, of course no one would go outside.
I have little to no faith in many people in this country. We've basically turned Idiocracy into a documentary.
