The risk is real. I wish the article would have questioned the premise though. Consolidating the entire nation's water grid into a single cloud system provides our enemies with a single Center of Gravity. The good news on the attempted hacks of local water supplies is they were thwarted. But even if they had been successful, the impact would have been limited to local only...not national.
