Not sure if they evolved from the FAST teams. Time changes things. They were at the Provisional Embassy in Mogadishu. We spent a day and night working on their beefed-up HMMWVs at their compound. Got to ride in the #2 Blazer, and got some mechs a helo lift back to Green Beach. They escorted us to and from through Indian country.
