A man has died, and five people have been left injured, after a swarm of bees attacked them after their hive was disturbed at an Arizona home, according to authorities.
The angry swarm of bees stung them after their 100-lbs hive was interfered with in a backyard in the town of Marana. According to authorities, three individuals were attacked “hundreds of times”. They also detailed that the other three people attacked were a part of the rescue team, who were said to be stung “multiple times”. Only one needed medical attention.
After four victims were taken for treatment at a local hospital, one of them, a man, was pronounced dead. His identity has not been made public by authorities.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel Now that is a sharp experience! My son raises bees for the honey. At one time he had nine hives but right now only two remain. I stay clear of them. I don't invite them to come after me!

Cpl Vic Burk I got stung a lot as a child but I can't remember the last time I was stung by a Bee or Wasp. Now Swimming thru a School of Jellyfish is More Recent in My Memory when My Kids were on Vacation with Me on Gulf Shores. Also this Year got Bit over 21 times by Brown Recluse. I'll still steer clear of Bees and Wasps though.
